Courage to ChaNGe
During the residential phase of the program all cadets will be educated and trained in our Eight Core Components. All cadets must demonstrate mastery in each of the following to successfully complete the program.

01. Life Coping Skills
Cadets learn to manage emotions, make sound decisions, and handle everyday challenges with confidence. These are the practical tools that help graduates navigate adult life long after they leave the Academy.

02. Academic Excellence
Structured classroom instruction helps cadets recover lost credits and work toward a high school diploma or equivalency. Small-group support keeps every cadet moving forward at their own pace.

03. Health and Hygiene
Cadets build lasting habits around personal health, nutrition, and self-care. Understanding how to care for their bodies gives them a foundation for a healthier, more independent future.

04. Job Skills
From resume writing to interview practice, cadets develop the skills employers look for. They leave prepared to pursue meaningful work and build toward a career.

05. Service to the Community
Hands-on service projects connect cadets to the people around them and show the impact of giving back. Serving others builds pride, purpose, and a sense of belonging.

06. Physical Fitness
A structured physical training program builds strength, endurance, and discipline. Cadets discover what their bodies are capable of and carry that confidence into everything they do.

07. Responsible Citizenship
Cadets learn how government works, why civic participation matters, and what it means to contribute to their community. They graduate ready to take an active role as engaged citizens.

08. Leadership Followership
Cadets practice both leading and following, learning that strong teams depend on each. These experiences prepare them to earn trust and take responsibility in any setting.

Are You Ready for the Challenge?
Our program provides graduates with the values, life skills, education, and self-discipline necessary to succeed as productive citizens.
